BLOSSOMS have announced a headline gig at Castlefield Bowl.
The Stockport five-piece will be joined by The Coral, Rory Wynne and Touts on Saturday 8th July as part of multi-day festival Sounds of the City.
After the release of their self-titled debut album earlier this year, Blossoms took right off. The band performed at numerous festivals, and even supported The Stone Roses for one of their dates at the Etihad.
With The Courteeners, New Order, and Catfish and the Bottlemen having played this venue in previous years; it’s mad that Blossoms are headlining not even a year after the release of their first album.
Richard Ashcroft, James and Haçienda Classical will also be performing at the mini-festival which takes place in late June/Early July.
Tickets go on sale at 9:30am on December 2nd.
