After recently discovering the upcoming band, ‘Twenty Four’ – I got in contact to find out a little more about them.

This four-piece band formed in Scotland consists of Danny Adens (Singer) , Ian Lawrie (Lead Guitar), Scott Canham (Bassist) and Rory Smith (Drummer). Excluding Danny, aged 18, the rest of the members, all aged 19, spent their time growing up throughout school being best friends and decided to voice their musical gifts. Lacking vocals in the group, Danny swept in after meeting the lads at T in the park which gained them huge success!

The excellent live performances from bands such as Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Courteeners and The View have inspired Twenty Four to professionally perform their quality tunes and embrace their passion for music. As to their sound, they rely on popular artists within the music industry known as Arctic Monkeys and Jamie T to influence their sound. Overall, the combined talents from each individual allows the band to release fantastic music which needs to be heard!

Beginning the new year with a blast as they return to the studio to record a 5 track EP which will hopefully be released in March. Throughout Scotland, their music has been played on a variety of radio stations to promote how talented these boys are. They share a large amount of excitement to release new music and show off their hard work to produce the best they can which purely sounds great.

2017 is promising for Twenty Four, as they continue to stand out and endure in a life full of creating music for people to adore. They have plenty of music ranging from live performances or their demos, which is featured on their SoundCloud which can be found below.

Twenty Four’s main focus is to prepare new melodies to feature on their EP but meanwhile, they are performing at The Record Factory in Glasgow on January 28th. It would be a great opportunity for new listeners and current fans to become involved with an interesting and unforgettable evening!

If you are interested in attending this gig then you are able to get tickets directly from the band on social media below, or you can easily buy them on the door!

For now, listen to their live version of ‘Never Be The Same.’ Watch out for these guys as they will soon become extremely popular!
